Professional Courses

No, just a passion for food and a drive to learn.  We deliver world-class training starting from foundation through to advanced levels and are a platform for consolidating knowledge and accelerating careers and opportunities in the food sector.  Our chef tutors are industry specialists, turned top-tier educators delivering the most professional learning experience for our students.

We will provide your uniform including chef whites and aprons, as well as a professional knife and equipment set.

Graduation is not the end, it’s very much the beginning. Alumni are privy to tiered lifetime support with career coaching according to the level of training. We also offer business-boost sessions to individuals alongside 2-day foodpreneurship workshops. Employers will look for the assurances of qualifications and experience. Our Alumni get a head start in this process and have access to a world of career opportunities.

Our commercially relevant professional culinary arts training can help support a wide distribution of jobs and career destinations including private chefs/caterers, pastry chefs, chalet and yacht chefs, executive/head chefs, sous chefs, commis chefs and food business owners.

The WhitePepper training kitchen is not an allergen free environment, however it may be possible to adjust ingredients on an individual basis, please contact the office to discuss.

It is possible to complete your training in a modular way, eg: Bronze Award (3 weeks), plus Intermediate Skills (5 weeks), then Advanced Skills (8 weeks).  Combined, these modules will give you a Gold Diploma L4 in Professional Culinary Arts.  We do recommend students undertake the course in a continuous 16 weeks, however we do understand this may not be possible due to time and financial constraints.

Our training programmes have been a popular choice for international students for over a decade, resulting in a global intake of students and a diverse classroom of learners.  Please see our International Students page for more information.

We always have a wide range of ages and backgrounds on each of our courses.  This mix helps create a really positive learning environment and nobody feels out of place.

Yes, we have student accommodation available.  Please see our accommodation page for more information.

Online Courses

As long as you need! It can be incorporated into any schedule, around family life and work commitments. You control the pace and progress!  We want our students to learn at their pace.

Your tutors will on occasion use professional level equipment to create the dishes. However, they will always offer an alternative which only requires domestic kitchen equipment.

You will have full access to your WhitePepper platform anywhere in the world. You can also watch on mobile using the Kajabi app.

The digital module is entirely exam free. Completed dishes are simply reviewed and marked by your course tutor.

For the in-person module, exams are part of achieving the level 2 award in cookery skills.

Students are required to recreate the recipes, provide photographic evidence of their dishes and self-evaluation of their performance. Students then have the opportunity to discuss progress with Luke Stuart personally, via the training platform. Past graduates report that the training is very vigorous, and feedback is constructive and timely.

Most definitely! You can take the digital module first, then add on the Foundation Skills in-person module to complete the CTH level two qualification.

Absolutely. The time at WhitePepper Chef Academy both online and in-person is  designed to give student chefs more confidence and an insight into further chef training, without the need to interrupt work. Many students at WhitePepper move from other industries, based on their love of food and desire for a new challenge. If you are not sure and would like to test the water, the Bronze Award (Flexible), is the ideal opportunity to do this. If you do decide to proceed, you are already achieved your first Professional Chef qualification!
