Competitively Priced
Being 2 hours outside of London allows for lower tuition fees and accommodation prices. Value aside, you’ll want a pound-for-pound return on your training investment. Our Career Destinations clearly highlight the various pathway options and examples of this. We also have suggestions for how to raise funds responsibly over on our Tuition Fees page. Any request for financial support will be held in the strictest confidence.
Qualified Educators
Our team is has a wealth of experience and with the high standards of a Michelin kitchen. We have a track record for delivering world-class qualifications and tutorials. We are industry specialists, turned top-tier educators. Whilst workplace training has its rightful place, the methodology used at WhitePepper is more akin to a university setting, with all lecturing staff being qualified education professionals. This provides the best learning experience for our students.
Academic Recognition
By invitation, the Academic Council of the Confederation of Hospitality & Tourism listed us with Gold Centre Status, of which there are very few worldwide. This is testament to the international quality of training practices and outcomes for graduates. It provides students with a guarantee of quality and governance through external regulation. Importantly, National Framework Credits gained whilst at WhitePepper can be carried forward towards FE.
Career Coaching & Support
WhitePepper is a community of well connected food professionals with a confident outlook. Graduation is not the end, it’s very much the beginning. Alumni are privy to tiered lifetime support. Bronze graduates receive company endorsed references. Silver alumni are offered career soundboard and networking opportunities. Gold graduates are assisted with work placement. We also offer a 2-day foodpreneurship workshop.
Multi-Format Learning
We offer a Level 2 blended qualification. This was the first official remote learning culinary training at the time. We are pleased that this provides access to WhitePepper training from the remoteness of your kitchen, with the subsequent option for a Level 2 qualification upgrade at anytime. You’ll notice learning in this way carries a substantially reduced cost to that of conventional in-person training.
Concise Delivery
One of our core aims has been to deliver high value training and qualifications within a succinct and concise timeframe. This means less time out of work and away from family life. Clearly we’re not in a position to reduce the necessary Total Qualification Time or Guided Learning Hours, but we don’t believe in repetition for the sake of it.
Honourability
We benefit from some of the UK’s best land and sea produce, and we’re committed to sourcing responsibly and regionally. In fact, we take pride in doing so. We enjoy eating the seasons and this shows on our plates. We don’t use fossil fuels, we monitor our waste footprint and recycle tirelessly. We work in partnership with our suppliers to host provenance trips, showcasing the stories of the food we eat.
Consistent Reviews
Trustpilot is our review hub. We have found this to host the most genuine and trustworthy reviews from our students, customers and clients. You’ll find reviews from new customers attending a one-off Saturday workshop, keen foodies working their way through our short course portfolio, right the way through to the professional trainees who train with us full-time from between three weeks and six months.
